Socialist Yugoslavia. Medal for Military Virtue, with case
The Medal for Military Virtue of Yugoslavia, instituted in December 1951, was an award intended to recognize exemplary qualities within military service, such as discipline, honor, loyalty, and impeccable conduct in fulfilling one’s duties. Awarded to soldiers, non-commissioned officers, and officers of the Yugoslav People’s Army, this medal did not reward acts of heroism in combat, but rather moral integrity, consistent dedication, and personal example in military life.
Yugoslav medal issued before 1992.
