The Yugoslav Medal of Labour, instituted on May 1, 1945, was a civil decoration awarded to recognize effort, dedication, and outstanding achievements in the field of labor and production within the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. It was granted to workers, technicians, professionals, and collectives who significantly contributed to the country’s economic, industrial, or social development, in alignment with the values of socialism and workers’ self-management.
