The 32nd Battalion (sometimes called the Buffalo Battalion, Three-Two Battalion or in Portuguese: Os Terríveis, meaning The Terribles) was an elite light infantry battalion of the South African Army, founded in 1975, composed of both white and black enlisted personnel. It was dissolved on March 26, 1993. It was used in counter-insurgency operations in Namibia, South Africa, Angola, and Mozambique.
