The Order of the October Revolution, established in 1967 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the October Revolution, was awarded to reward contributions to the development of the Soviet state, special courage and valor, strengthening of peace, such as the active revolutionary activity or valor shown in battles with enemies of the Soviet state.
The obverse reads «ОКТЯБРЬСКАЯ РЕВОЛЮЦИЯ» (October Revolution) and the ship Aurora. The medal is made of silver and the enamels are in good condition.
