Soviet Union USSR. SSh-60 Helmet from the Red October Factory
It bears a black ink marking «P-2» referring to the size, and «ЗКО 67» indicating the manufacturer Red October Factory (Завод Красный Октябрь) and the year of production, 1967. Previously, the marking “CT” referred to Stalingrad, but during Nikita Khrushchev’s de-Stalinization process in the 1960s, the name was changed.
The steel shell has a star-shaped marking, an acceptance stamp confirming it meets ballistic standards. It also has the serial number “2-45645” stamped on it.
