Spain. Arm badge for Officers. 150th Division. Nationalist Army. Spanish Civil War.
Hand-embroidered, 50 x 55 mm.
The 150th Division was a unit of the Francoist Army that actively participated in the Spanish Civil War, distinguishing itself in battles such as Brunete, Teruel, Alfambra, Aragon, the Ebro, and Catalonia. Throughout its history, it was led by renowned military commanders, including Eduardo Sáenz de Buruaga and Agustín Muñoz Grandes.
The division was formed in the Protectorate of Morocco at the end of May 1937 and was initially under the command of General Eduardo Sáenz de Buruaga. By mid-June, it was fully organized and comprised of Moroccan regulars, legionnaires, and other forces. At that time, Sáenz de Buruaga was also serving as military commander of Cáceres, which is why the unit was temporarily deployed in that city.
