In the 1940s, and especially from 1943 onwards, the emblem with the imperial eagle was established as the sole symbol in the uniforms of ministerial officials. There could be differences in some ministries or Directorates-General, but the eagle as a symbol was maintained.
This change occurred because FET de las JONS ceased to be considered a political party and was instead regarded as a movement, thus giving rise to the National Movement.
