Spain. Buckle of the Army’s Labor and Topographic Corps. 1939 ?
1939. The Army’s Geographic and Cartographic Service is created, under the newly established Directorate General of Services.
1942. The organization adopts the name Army Geographic Service and is integrated into the Central General Staff.
1944. The Labor and Topographic Brigade is reorganized, and the Military Map of Spain at a scale of 1:200,000 is completed.
1959. The Labor and Topographic Brigade is renamed the Labor and Topographic Group (AOT) of the Army’s Geographic Service.
This buckle would, in any case, be from after 1939. Spanish military buckle.
