Spanish military parachutist qualification badge, commonly known as Rokiski, corresponding to the pattern worn during the Franco period and the early years of Spain’s transition to democracy.
The badge features the characteristic parachutist wings design, symbolizing the training and qualification required to perform military parachute jumps. These insignia identified personnel who had successfully obtained their parachutist qualification.
This example is manufactured from aluminium and features the military crown characteristic of this pattern, preceding the adoption of the royal crown on later versions. The design remained in use until 1977, when the insignia was modified to reflect the restored monarchy.
The main body of the badge is preserved, although the rear fastening attachment is missing.
