Spain. Medal for the 20th Anniversary of the Founding of the Falange, 1933-1953
The Commemorative Medal for the 20th Anniversary of the Founding of the Falange was created in 1953 to mark the twentieth anniversary of the founding of Falange Española. It was awarded to those who attended the national rally held on 29 October 1953 at Chamartín Stadium in Madrid.
The circular medal features the yoke and arrows, the emblem of the Falange, on the obverse, together with the dates 1933-1953 and the inscriptions “29 OCTUBRE” and “XX ANIVERSARIO”. It was manufactured in Madrid by the jewellers Villanueva y Laiseca. The reverse is plain, and the ribbon uses the Falange colours.
