Spain. Model 1926 helmet with wings. Original model from the Spanish Civil War period. Used by the Nationalist Army and the Republican People’s Army.
Repainted during the Spanish Civil War period, replacing the side aluminum rivets with steel rivets.
It preserves the leather liner and chinstrap, although it is broken.
It does not have the front badge holder that was added to Spanish Civil War helmets, which were later refurbished and reused by Franco’s Army.
