This example corresponds to the founding period of the Order.
The Order was established by King Fernando VII on March 14, 1815, and was reorganized through a royal decree on July 26, 1847, when it took its current name.
The enamels on the Cross are in very good condition, although both centers have slight damage to the enamels.
The size is 41 x 26 mm.
