Pegaso was the commercial brand of Empresa Nacional de Autocamiones, S.A. (ENASA), established in Spain in 1946 under the auspices of the National Institute of Industry (INI), with the engineer Wifredo Ricart as its technical director.
During the second half of the 20th century, Pegaso became one of Spain’s leading industrial vehicle manufacturers, specialising particularly in trucks, buses and military vehicles.
