The blade is decorated with floral motifs and marked “FABª DE TOLEDO”, referring to the Fábrica Nacional de Toledo, and “AÑO DE 1873”, indicating the year of manufacture.
This model is identical to the Model 1851 Infantry Officer’s Saber.
