Sweden. Swedish M1896 Bayonet by Eskilstuna Jernmanufaktur AB
The M1896 bayonet was developed for the Mauser Swedish Model 1896 rifle and was later also issued for use with the M1938 short rifle and the Automatgevär m/42 semi-automatic rifle. Production continued from 1899 until 1964, reflecting the model’s exceptionally long service life within the Swedish Armed Forces.
