Soviet Union (USSR). Soviet SSh-60 Helmet Manufactured at the Red October Factory
Soviet SSh-60 military helmet bearing the stamped marking “1-62465” on the steel shell. The number “1” indicates the helmet size, while the remaining digits identify the production batch. This numbering system was used by the Red October Factory (Завод «Красный Октябрь») in Stalingrad.
The helmet also retains several black ink inspection stamps, applied as part of the factory quality control process.
It preserves its original liner and chinstrap.
