Soviet Union USSR. 30th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War Medal with Award Document, 1975
The Commemorative Medal for the 30th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 was established by the Soviet Union in 1975 to mark the thirtieth anniversary of the Allied victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The medal was awarded to military personnel and civilians who had served on the fronts of the war in the ranks of the Soviet Armed Forces, as well as to partisans, underground resistance members, and other recipients of the Medal for the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945 or the Medal for the Victory over Japan. It was also awarded to workers and non-combat personnel who had received the Medal for Valiant Labour in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945.
This example is accompanied by its original award document, dated 1975, officially confirming the recipient’s entitlement to the decoration.
