Soviet Union (USSR). Order of the Badge of Honour bearing the serial number 646620.
Based on its serial number, it is known that this decoration was awarded in the early 1970s.
The Order of the Badge of Honour was a state decoration of the Soviet Union, instituted on November 25, 1935, with the purpose of recognizing outstanding merits in labor, production, science, culture, and other social activities of particular importance to the State.
The Order of the Badge of Honour is made of silver. At its center are the figures of a male worker and a female worker holding banners bearing the inscription “Workers of the world, unite!” (in Russian: “Пролетарии всех стран, соединяйтесь!”). At the top is a five-pointed star, and just below it, set against the background of the banners, appears the raised inscription “USSR.” At the bottom of the badge, also in raised lettering, is the legend “BADGE OF HONOUR” (in Russian: “ЗНАК ПОЧЁТА”).
