Soviet Union (USSR). Order of the Red Star #3312268
The Order of the Red Star (Орден Красной Звезды) was one of the most iconic military decorations of the Soviet Union, established in 1930 to reward soldiers, officers, and units for their bravery, distinguished service, and contribution to the defense of the homeland and the strengthening of the Armed Forces.
At the center of the order is a shield with the image of a Red Army soldier wearing a coat and a Budenovka hat, holding a rifle. Around the edge of the shield is the inscription «Workers of the world, unite!» and at the bottom, the inscription «USSR». Beneath the shield is the image of the hammer and sickle.
