British MK-II military helmet used by the Police during World War II.
On the pot is the marking «II XZ» in reference to the Mk-II model.
The interior is a MK-I of size «6 3/4» manufactured by «J.C.S. & W.Ltd» (J Compton Sons and Webb) in 1938. The marking consisting of a C and an arrow corresponds to Quality Control and the inspection number.
The chinstrap is the first model used in World War II, a Mk-II.
