USA. American M1 helmet model 1943 with the brim closure on the front, characteristic of the models manufactured during World War II. The hull is marked «1061E» from the manufacturer McCord Radiator Manufacturing Company. The chinstrap is the first beige model (OD 3) manufactured until 1944. The net, officially called «NET, HELMET», is of origin. The helmet is marked by the manufacturer Westinghouse Electric Company. The neckband is marked with the serial number and size «SMALL». It preserves the decals of the US Army Transportation Center & School military academy, Headquarters of the United States Army Transportation Corps created on July 31, 1942.
