A. Eickhorn GmbH & Co., Solingen (AES) was founded in 1976 by Annette Eickhorn and led by Jörg Eickhorn.
The EW 77 CO bayonet was presented as a proposal for the evaluation of the Assault Rifle 90, but it was ultimately not adopted. This bayonet is compatible with the Stgw 90 and its variants. It is also compatible with the Assault Rifle 57, as its mounting is fully compatible with both rifles.
The bayonet has no markings. The belt mount is designed for NATO-style belts.
This version was only used in Venezuela in a very small number and is considered very uncommon.
