Heer NCO shoulder board with red Artillery trim, two pipes for Master sergeant and the «S» badge of the Officers’ School. Model 1936 (M36) made of dark green wool.
The Army shoulder boards of the Wehrmacht (Heer Schulterstücke or Schulterklappen) indicated the rank and branch of service of their wearer. Shoulder boards for enlisted men and non-commissioned officers were made of cotton and had colored piping corresponding to their arm of service.
