Germany Third Reich. Heer Artillery shoulder boards for Oberleutnant (First lieutenant)
Officer shoulder boards of the Heer with «Russian braid», with one pipe for First Lieutenant in red color for Artillery. It includes the uniform buttons.
The shoulder boards of the German Army of the Wehrmacht (Heer Schulterstücke) indicated the rank and branch. Officers shoulder boards were made with “Russian braid,” aluminum-thread. At the start of World War II, dull gray aluminum wire was used.
